Introduction

Movement and fitness have always been part of my life. As a former synchronized swimmer and lifelong athlete, I love staying active through hiking, biking, and other outdoor adventures. When I’m not exploring, you’ll find me relaxing by the campfire with friends and family. I’m passionate about helping others stay strong, confident, and injury-free so they can keep enjoying what they love for years to come, just like I am doing for myself.

About Jennifer

Jennifer Joseph is a certified Personal Trainer, National-Level Synchronized Swimming Coach, and OTA/PTA Diploma graduate dedicated to helping others reach their full potential. A former national-level synchronized swimmer, she transitioned into coaching to inspire the next generation—guiding athletes from recreational to national levels and even leading a synchro club in Queenstown, New Zealand.

Back in Canada, Jennifer merged her rehabilitation and fitness expertise at Evoke Fitness in New Hamburg, ON, where she worked as a physiotherapy assistant, personal trainer, coached group classes, led swim dryland programs, and helped clients of all ages achieve lasting health and strength.

In 2022, she moved to Calgary and coached at Fit Body Bootcamp, specializing in active aging (60+). Her dedication earned her the Senior Program Head Coach of the Year (2023) title and an Active Aging Certificate.

In July 2024, Jennifer launched Simple Steps Fitness—a program built to make fitness simple, fun, and accessible to everyone, regardless of age, ability, or injury. Her classes focus on building strength, balance, mobility, stamina, and confidence, empowering older adults to stay independent and active for years to come.

Today, Jennifer trains clients both online and in person through:

  • Personal Training – customized programs tailored to individual goals
  • Small Group Training – for social connection, accountability, and personal attention
  • 60+ Group Classes – fun, circuit-style sessions that build strength, mobility, and balance

Through every approach, Jennifer helps clients rebuild strength, confidence, and vitality—guiding them to discover their “better than best.”
