FitHub YYC's "Start Your Journey. Win A Year Free." Promotion

‍1. Promotion Overview

FitHub YYC ("Sponsor") is conducting the "Start Your Journey. Win A Year Free." promotion ("Promotion") from December 1, 2025 at 12:00 AM MST through January 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM MST ("Promotion Period"). One (1) winner will receive a twelve (12) month unlimited base membership to FitHub YYC.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible to enter this Promotion, an individual must:

1. Be a legal resident of the Calgary metropolitan area, Alberta, Canada.
2. Be eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.
3. Be a new member of FitHub YYC. This Promotion is not open to current members, former members who have cancelled their membership, or anyone who has previously held a membership at FitHub YYC.
4. Not be an employee, contractor, or immediate family member (spouse, parent, child, sibling, or household member) of FitHub YYC, its affiliates, partners, or any wellness professionals operating within the facility.
5. Provide valid government-issued photo identification (e.g., Alberta Driver's License or Alberta Identification Card) to verify residency and age upon request.

Non-Residents: Free trials are only available to Calgary area residents. Any individual found to be a non-resident who attempts to participate will be charged the standard drop-in fee and will be immediately disqualified from the Promotion.

3. How to Enter & Entry Tiers

Eligible participants may earn entries into the Promotion as follows:

3.1 Free Trial Entry (1 Entry)

1. Sign up for a free trial during the Promotion Period.
2. Physically visit the FitHub YYC facility and check in at the front desk during the Promotion Period.
3. Visit must be verified and logged by FitHub YYC staff. Simply signing up for a free trial online does not constitute a valid entry; physical attendance is required.

3.2 Monthly Membership Entry (5 Entries)

Sign up for a monthly membership during the Promotion Period and complete your first payment. Monthly members receive five (5) total entries into the draw.

3.3 Annual Membership Entry (20 Entries)

Sign up for an annual membership during the Promotion Period and complete full payment. Annual members receive twenty (20) total entries into the draw, providing the best statistical odds of winning.

3.4 Entry Limits

Maximum entries per person: Twenty (20). Entries are non-cumulative. If a participant upgrades from a free trial to a membership, their total entries will reflect their highest tier only (e.g., upgrading from free trial to annual membership results in 20 total entries, not 21).

4. Entry Validation & Verification

1. One Free Trial Per Person: Each eligible individual may only receive one (1) free trial entry. Attempts to register multiple free trials using different email addresses, phone numbers, or other identifying information will result in immediate disqualification.
2. Physical Visit Required: Free trial entries are only validated upon physical check-in at the FitHub YYC front desk during the Promotion Period. Staff will verify and log each visit. No minimum duration of visit is required, but the entrant must physically enter the facility and check in with staff.
3. Identity Verification: Sponsor reserves the right to request valid government-issued photo identification (Alberta Driver's License or Alberta Identification Card) to verify residency, age, and identity at any time.
4. Accurate Contact Information: Entrants are solely responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date contact information (email address, phone number). Sponsor is not responsible for entries that cannot be processed due to incorrect or incomplete information.

5. Membership Cancellation & Entry Forfeiture

1. If a monthly or annual member cancels their membership before the draw date, they will forfeit their membership-tier entries (5 or 20 entries, respectively).
2. If the cancelled member previously completed a valid free trial visit during the Promotion Period, they will retain their one (1) free trial entry.
3. Members must be in good standing (no outstanding balances, no policy violations, active membership status) at the time of the draw to be eligible to win.

6. Prize Details

6.1 Prize Description

One (1) Grand Prize: A twelve (12) month unlimited base membership to FitHub YYC. The prize includes full access to the 20,000+ square foot facility, all standard equipment, day-use lockers, and member lounge. Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $720 CAD.

6.2 Prize Exclusions

The prize does NOT include any add-on services or premium amenities, including but not limited to: infrared sauna access, towel service, coffee bar access, personal training, CrossFit classes, sport therapy, nutrition coaching, HYROX training, pre/post natal programs, or small group classes. These services may be purchased separately at the winner's expense.

6.3 Prize Period & Activation

1. The free twelve (12) month membership will be activated on February 1, 2026 (or the date the winner confirms acceptance, whichever is later) and will expire twelve (12) months from the activation date.
2. Example: If a winner signed up as an annual member in December 2025, their paid membership period will continue as scheduled. The free twelve (12) month prize membership will be added to their account following the conclusion of their paid term. No refunds, credits, or adjustments will be made to any existing paid membership.
3. No Pausing or Extension: The winner may not pause, suspend, or extend their free membership period for any reason. The twelve (12) month prize membership runs continuously from the activation date and cannot be extended, deferred, or banked. For example, if the winner takes three (3) months off from the gym, the free membership does not extend by three (3) months.

6.4 Prize Restrictions

The prize is non-transferable and may not be assigned, sold, or gifted to another individual. No cash equivalent, substitution, or exchange is available, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable.

7. Winner Selection & Notification

1. Random Draw: One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The draw will be conducted during the week following February 1, 2026. The random selection will be weighted according to the number of entries each eligible participant has earned.
2. Announcement: The winner will be announced via FitHub YYC's official social media channels and email newsletter.
3. Notification: The potential winner will be contacted via email and/or phone using the contact information provided at the time of entry.
4. Response Deadline: The potential winner must respond to the notification within seven (7) calendar days of the initial contact attempt. Failure to respond within this timeframe will result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries.
5. Verification: The potential winner may be required to provide proof of eligibility (residency, age, identity) and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and Publicity Release (where permitted by law) prior to receiving the prize.

8. Referrals & Group Participation

Members are encouraged to share this Promotion with friends and family. Multiple individuals may sign up together (e.g., a group of friends). However, each entry is individual, and the prize cannot be split, shared, or divided among multiple people. Only the individual whose name is drawn will receive the prize.

9. Disqualification

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who:

1. Attempts to register multiple free trial entries using different email addresses, aliases, or other deceptive means.
2. Provides false, fraudulent, or misleading information.
3. Tampers with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion.
4. Violates these Official Terms & Conditions.
5. Is found to be a non-resident of the Calgary metropolitan area.
6. Is a returning or existing member of FitHub YYC.
7. Engages in any conduct that Sponsor deems to be in violation of the spirit or intent of this Promotion.

Cheating or attempting to game this Promotion will result in immediate disqualification and may result in a permanent ban from FitHub YYC.

10. General Conditions

1. Publicity: By accepting the prize, the winner grants Sponsor the right to use their name, likeness, photograph, and testimonial for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
2. Taxes: The winner is solely responsible for any and all applicable federal, provincial, and local taxes associated with the prize.
3. Technical Issues: Sponsor is not responsible for any technical malfunctions, errors, or failures that may affect the submission or processing of entries, including but not limited to website crashes, server failures, or data loss.
4. Modification/Cancellation: Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel this Promotion at any time for any reason, including but not limited to fraud, technical issues, or circumstances beyond Sponsor's control.
5. Disputes: Any disputes arising from this Promotion shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Calgary, Alberta.
6. Limitation of Liability: By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
